The Club Precinct in Pretoria is one of Atterbury's flagship developments, comprising six state-of-the-art buildings seamlessly integrated into a modern and vibrant hub. This precinct encompasses captivating retail spaces, restaurants, offices in The Club, Club One, Club Advocates' Chambers, Club Medical, and 15 residential units. When Atterbury, a Pretoria-based company, acquired the property in 2007, the buildings were in a state of disrepair, necessitating a complete overhaul and, in some cases, demolition, according to Wiehan Strydom, Atterbury's development manager.
The vision for The Club was meticulously aligned with its upscale surroundings. Recognising the property's impact on its neighbouring areas, Atterbury embraced the concept of curating a sophisticated blend of retail, dining, and lifestyle offerings that would fit and sustainably. This approach was considered a substantial investment to enhance the locality while providing essential amenities for neighbouring communities.
