Suncoast Casino

In November 2002, Suncoast Casino made its grand debut and quickly established itself as an iconic casino destination in South Africa. Located at the northern end of Durban's Golden Mile, adjacent to the Kings Park Sporting Precinct, this mammoth complex encompasses a casino, hotel, and entertainment centre. Alongside the impressive casino, visitors can enjoy a variety of amenities such as numerous restaurants, a beach bar, cinemas, and even a semi-private beach, renowned as one of the top three beaches in South Africa. The architectural design of the complex tastefully complements Durban's rich art deco heritage. Notably, Suncoast boasts the largest casino complex in the country.

Over the years, Cairnmead Industrial Consultants have been actively involved in multiple successful projects at Suncoast Casino. One significant endeavour was the expansion of the casino, which commenced in 2016. This expansion included the construction of a 20,000m² mall with restaurants, augmenting the Suncoast Casino at 20 Battery Beach Road in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. Furthermore, there were plans for the Skypark resort swimming pools, an expansion of the casino floor, and the addition of a multi-story parkade. The total value of the project amounted to approximately R1.8 billion. Subsequently, Cairnmead participated in various other projects, ranging from gas installations, flooring, and electrical installations to signage, telecom installations, and more.
