Last week, Cairnmead Operational Consultants had the privilege of visiting the school to conduct a comprehensive audit and offer recommendations for continuous improvement.

Our qualified consultant meticulously inspected various aspects of the school grounds during the audit. From verifying the presence of dedicated assembly points with appropriate signage to checking fire extinguishers' service dates and stair railings' integrity, no detail was overlooked.

The school's steadfast commitment to student safety is evident, and we take immense pride in providing the guidance necessary to uphold these standards.

A study conducted by The Fire Protection Association of Southern Africa indicated a total of 51,369 fire calls were responded to by fire departments across the country. Among these incidents, 3,825 were related to dwellings, 2,240 to informal dwellings, 421 involved flats, 193 concerned outbuildings, and 76 pertained to hotels or boarding houses. Notably, fires also affected 61 hospitals and 171 educational establishments or schools. This highlights the critical importance of prioritising health and safety in all operational endeavours.
